To save on communication and online surfing when traveling around Russia, MTS recommends its clients to use the “Like at Home Everywhere” option. There is a separate version of the same service, designed for Smart tariff plans.

The option optimizes communication costs during domestic Russian roaming- throughout the entire territory of the country outside of its republic, region or other subject of the Russian Federation (Moscow and the region are considered one region). With the activated service, all incoming calls to the number are free, outgoing calls are charged at reduced rates. This reduces the cost of voice calls and communication via SMS messages.

The option is available for use on all plans except Ultra, Smart+, Top, and the “Business Without Borders” corporate line. It cannot be added to a number simultaneously with some old services (“Favorite Country”, “Neighboring Regions”, “United Country” and their modifications).

How to activate the “Smart Everywhere at Home” service

There are several ways to activate a discount on mass and corporate tariffs without a monthly fee and “Smart Mini”:

1. You can switch to the “Like Home Everywhere” tariff from MTS from your phone by sending a USSD request *111*3333# . This is a shortcut command on the mobile portal *111# (for free).
2. Send SMS with phrase 333 on 111 (free in your region, charged in roaming).
3. Call on 0890 or 88002500890, and ask the consultant to add the service (free of charge even in domestic Russian roaming). To do this, you will need a code word or passport number and series.
4. Enable the option in your Personal Account (Internet Assistant) on operator portal or in the application. In your Personal Account, you need to log in, go to the “Tariffs and Services” page, go to the “Service Management” subsection, then click on the “Connect new” link, select and confirm the operation.

Prices for activation and use of the service vary in different regions. Current information on how much the MTS “Everywhere at home” option costs when roaming in Russia is published on the operator’s official Internet portal http://www.mts.ru/.

In Moscow and the region in 2017, the subscription fee is 7 rubles. per day. Activating the benefit for capital residents will cost 30 rubles. Funds are debited from the account daily at 03:00; Communication discounts are provided until 3 am the next day.
